Excel comes to our help to separate data with semicolon or comma and bring in table format.
Copy the data to a particular cell in Excel.
Go to Data menu and select text to columns.
In the wizard select delimited radio button/option.
Click Next and select the type of delimiter your data has (say semicolon).
Go through the wizard and you will find the data in each separate cell.
Now select the cells which contain data and copy.
Now the trick is while doing paste special use the transpose option which will convert the data from horizontal to vertical table format.
